AI safety and ethics policy
Last updated July 27, 2026
LeaderScale follows a people-first AI strategy. AI can reduce costs by automating routine work, and human-in-the-loop applications of AI have a far larger impact on productivity by amplifying human capabilities. We put people first in how we use AI, because that approach holds the biggest potential for value creation in coaching and development.
Safety
The LeaderScale platform, and the AI features within it, is designed with safety as a top priority. We follow industry best practices and guidelines for developing AI systems, including robust testing, validation, and quality assurance measures that reduce the risk of harmful outcomes. We continually monitor and evaluate the platform for potential safety concerns and take prompt action to address any issue we identify. We conduct ongoing research to improve the safety of the platform's AI functionality and to mitigate potential risks proactively. Our AI technology stack is developed in-house rather than built on external APIs that update outside of our control, which helps us prevent problematic emergent behaviors from other organizations' AI updates from affecting our technology.
Ethics
The LeaderScale platform is designed and maintained in line with a strong ethical framework, guided by fairness, transparency, and accountability. We uphold ethical standards and comply with the laws and regulations governing the use of AI technology in our products and services. The platform, and our training on how to use it, encourages customers to apply this technology for ethical purposes. The AI components are designed to inform and support actions taken by people, and to help users avoid activities that may cause harm, violate privacy rights, or perpetuate discrimination or bias. We prioritize transparency about our approach, and this policy is meant to explain our goals for the use of AI and its potential impact on users, customers, and society.
Non-bias
We strive to build and maintain an AI product that is free from bias and discrimination to the maximum extent possible, and we take proactive measures to reduce or eliminate biases that may arise from data collection, model training, or system deployment. We conduct regular audits of the platform's AI components to identify and address bias. These audits are led by Ryan Baker, a professor at the University of Pennsylvania and one of the world's leading authorities on algorithmic bias in applications designed for education and training. We provide guidelines to help our users avoid biased usage, recognizing that responsible use also rests in part with our users and customers. We promote diversity and inclusivity in the development and deployment of the platform, with the goal of ensuring that our technology is beneficial to all users, regardless of race, gender, religion, age, sexual orientation, disability, or any other individual difference.
Conclusion
The LeaderScale platform is designed with a strong commitment to safety, ethics, and non-bias. We continually improve our technology and policies so that the use of AI through our products is a positive force, while upholding high standards of responsibility and integrity. We recognize that AI, and the legal and societal responses to it, are changing quickly. We work to stay current and may update our approach and this policy over time.
